Travel to Visby

There are many ways to travel to Visby and Gotland.

But since it is an island in the Baltic Sea, you have to cross the water some way or another.

There are daily directs flights to Visby from both Stockholm Arlanda Airport and  Stockholm Bromma Airport. But there are also direct flights from Gothenburg, Malmö and Helsinki.

The ferry operates several departures a day on both the Oskarshamn–Visby and Nynäshamn–Visby routes.

Destination Gotland

Take the ferry to Gotland! Destination Gotland operates a lot of departures between Nynäshamn, Oskarshamn and Visby. The journey takes around 3 hours, giving you the opportunity to relax, watch a movie or have a meal. Welcome on board.

Scandinavian Airlines

SAS flies from a lot of European cities direct to Stockholm Arlanda Airport. And then from Arlanda direct to Visby. The flight to Visby takes about 40 minutes. There are also transfers between the Arlanda and Bromma airports if you prefer travelling with BRA to Visby. Transfer time is about 35–50 minutes, depending traffic.

BRA - Braathens Regional Airlines

BRA flies several times a day to Visby from Stockholm Bromma Airport. They also operate Visby–Gothenburg and Visby–Malmö several times a week. The flight from Bromma takes about 35 minutes. 

There are also transfers between the Bromma and Arlanda airports if you arrive in Arlanda and want to travel to Visby with BRA. Transfer time is about 35–50 minutes, depending traffic.

Finnair flies from a lot of European cities direct to Helsinki Airport. And then direct from Helsinki to Visby with several departures a week. Flight time Helsinki–Visby is about 80 minutes.
